The current Polk County Sheriff of Polk County, Florida is Sheriff Grady Judd.  Grady Judd has a strong academic background in Criminal Justice having received his Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Rollins College. As a professional, the Polk Sheriff has been serving in the Polk County Sheriff’s office since 1972. He is a respected member of the Polk County community and is dedicated to the protection of citizens through the upholding of the law.
Under the Polk Sheriff and his current law enforcement teams there are several different specialized offices that can be found there: communications, legal affairs, professional compliance, and administrative investigations.  Each of these smaller groupings is specialized in a number of different aspects and is used to help individuals find the information they need.
As an informational resource, under the Polk Sheriff’s department, there are a number of valuable resources regarding the current search warrants, who is considered to be on the most wanted list and is still at large, and information regarding sexual predators.
The Polk County Sheriff is an advocate for community service and public programs to help keep the community safe and strength the bonds of individuals; under the current administration of the PCSO there are a number of community outreach programs.
 Programs like: neighborhood watch, fingerprinting, business watch, bicycle safety, vial of life, volunteers, and many more. These are all used as informational and decision strengthening tools.  Overall, the Polk County Sheriff and his department are dedicated to serving the greater whole of the community in regards to educating and protecting.
